URQ Turbo Shocks and Springs
Im going to replace the shocks and springs in my Audi UR Quattro Turbo with WR engine. Id like to stay as close as possible to the factory setup
Are Sport Quattro shocks and springs a direct fit and if so what part numbers are they? Can someone give me the standard urq part numbers for shocks and springs? Also I see from reading various posts some people go the koni/bilstein route for the shocks and h+r springs How do these setups feel - are they hard - do they lower the car much Would appreciate peoples feedback thanks |

I went adjustable Koni shocks and standard springs - the shocks are inserts so maintain the stock look and of course ride height - not too hard at all but it is stiffer than stock. I don't think sport quattro dampers, even if available is worth it.
I dont have any part numbers I'm afraid. |

Pete Reeve (quattrocorner) supplied them. His stock replacement for the originals. The originals are NLA, I believe. I was going to go with the 034 density versions, but as I had a set of these, I went with them.

On your thread, I couldn't work out - did you not go with the 2086 front konis but went front and back with the 2087s?

I had a set of 2086 for the front, and 2087 for the rear, but with the uprated springs being shorter than standard springs (to achieve the same ride height- small snafu, easily accommodated), it proved practical to use 2087 on the front, also.
For standard OEM springs, 2086 work fine. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got it - I missed you had shortened springs - I have the 2086/2087s with stock springs.
thanks |

Here in the USA where any Ur suspension parts are impossible to find. I went to our best source and got Bilstein HD with CompBrake (UK) mounts. Urq Springs by Eibach sport (limited run). Very nice ride height and quality. The car came with H&R and Koni's which felt like a go kart riding over rail tracks!
