Im like you, I dont mind them at all, the pics are purly for enjoyment and whatever, winding Bruce up etc, too old and too tired to care what others think.

Like you I dont mind the Royals really, there are a few hangers on that should go get a job but the majority do work hard, and they do briong a sh it load of money into the country.

I worked a lot at Windsor Castle behind the secenes, the front facade and what the public sees is impressive and nice, however the real stuff is in need of massive repair and renovation, some of it is so bad Im not sure if it could ever be restored, there is so much to do.

Funny you should mention working there, a best pal now sadly passed worked there restoring the oak panelling after the fire. Interesting that you say the bit we don't see is in such bad repair. Sad really.

I think the Queen slimmed down the hangers on a good few years ago due to public pressure. Good on her, so yes totally agree with you the main royals do a great job for this country and bring in huge amounts of money. There was this one banding about on fb people bitching about the 30m it cost for security.
