If the holders have survived intact they should be ok to re-use.

Or you could fit new ones and retain the originals as spares

As Mike says, no reason you can't reuse them if they are undamaged.

I'm guessing you have the smaller inserts with the brass holder as per the bottom grouping? Looks like your injector is the later type with a "hat" on the end.

Nice injectors by the way !!!

Quick update from some work carried out earlier this week......

I've reassembled the injectors with new seals, adding new fibre washers to the inserts that were previously missing.

Checked the fuel system pressure (it was fine at 82psi) and made further slight adjustments to the cold & warm control pressures to bring them bang on spec.

Put the rest of the bits back on and it started instantly from cold - woohoo !! Relief

It now seems to be much more responsive to changes in the fuel/air mixture, making it easier to find a real sweet spot where it now idles much more smoothly and evenly.

Not had the chance to road-test yet as still SORN, but it seems to have a really crisp throttle response.

I may be imagining it but it's not smelling as rich from the exhaust, so now the oil consumption investigation continues.
Having already replaced the valve stem seals, next on my agenda is the turbocharger.

Initial scrutiny has revealed some oil in the intake pipes and a little more end float in the turbine shaft than I am happy with.

A rebuild kit arrived today, so hopefully tomorrow will get to strip & rebuild the turbo, once done I'll post details including the removal saga and what else I found.
