it's odd stuff.

It melts the snow/ice to slush, into a consistency like grinding paste.
while melting anything it touches.
which then refreezes to something much harder and more slippery, generally in ridges which make for interesting reactions from the traction control

I saw a BMW (circa early 21st century), that was rotten on 4 corners. the only thing holding it together was the rot in between and several tenacious coats of teutonic paint.

There are some very dubious tin worm casualties limping around North Huron....think us Brits would call 'em death traps.

*JACK JACK JACK JACK JACK JACK.......KKKKKRRRRRRRRRRR...*

"hmm, how come i'm jacking this thing up and it's not going any higher?"

it was a mk5 cortina and the chassis had disintegrated with the jack making
an unscheduled entrance into the driver's foot well!!!

i shat myself and dreaded telling the boss and was sure i'd get my jotters

i once heard this statement re old fords:

"If you listen very carefully, you can hear an old ford....RUST !!"

Thank goodness my 2.0 Ghia had an easy, sales rep free life!!

I am a big fan of old Fords, but I think that RS1600i has been ruined. Give me a mint standard car over this one every time. Like this one,
