Default Ignition wiring

Don't know if this will help but according to Haynes typical wiring for ignition switch is:

Black/Yellow (1mm) - Electric Window/Central Locking/Door contact switch loom

Grey/Yellow (1mm) - as above

Red (2.5mm ) - live feed from relay box

Black (2.5mm) - negative

Red/Black (2.5mm) - negative

Red (0.5mm) - live to buzzer for sidelights/radio

Grey (0.5mm) - side light/radio on buzzer

Brown/Yellow (0.5mm) - side light/radio on buzzer

Good luck

Quite possibly nothing.

Lubricating the actual lock mechanism (on the edge of the door) is an often-neglected service item -- it's exposed to quite a bit of crap as you drive around.

My favourite is Halfraud's Spray Grease.
