Default ur head lamp washers freeflowing

as above took it out last night and used washers with lights on, when I stop the washers were free flowing all the water away, is there a valve in the system that must be stuck open ?

The headlamp washers use a different pump. it's possibly running all the time.

Could be a faulty pump or switch

Or a split in the pipe or unions behind the bumper

The right angle piece on the pipe to the jet block has a one-way valve inside and they get stuck open as you have found out, take it off and push the valve with a small screwdriver until you can only blow one way.

System/jets normally have a valve in that needs pump pressure to overcome it , odd that its leaking out of both headlamp washers.

when i bought my ur quattro a few years ago, one of the headlamp skooshers was "crying" all the time and emptied the skoosher bottle in no time.

i replace the dodgy skoosher and hey presto, back to normal service again
