Reynolds 531C frame and forks (handbuilt). Dura Ace and Ultegra from early 90s. Just fitting bar tape and cables after swapping tri bars for STI.

I like the colour, but then you should see some of the DP's that people collect now, they look very girlie with their pink and White colour schemes. The reason that I love my mag burner so much is because of the simple Black and White scheme, it's nice and simple and easy to get bits for

pretty cool, didnt think that there would be any interest in these outside of bmx forums. I still ride bmx, not so much racing but more skateparks. its a getting to be huge right now. Nike have been setting up huge events in scotland and england over the last two years. A few of my mates were competing in the 80's two of them were world class in racing and freestyle, both still ride now.

Great thread, Daz. I remember getting my Blue Raleigh Tuff Burner with the yellow Skyway wheels for Christmas 1982. It was an even better present than the 12" of 'Mirror Man' by The Human League the same Christmas. Only just, mind....Miles cooler than my red Mk2 (Xmas 1979 vintage) Grifter.

As in Latvia all BMX era started at 1986 it was nearly impossible and after 1990 too expensive to buy BMX bikes from UK or USA. SO 90% of bikes were self made. Frames welded, gears, seats, etc from street bikes. After 1990 in my city was one man who had all necesary machines to make all parts for BMX. He welded nice frames, made rods and gears from titanium, etc. Weight and quality was very good!
