Don't have all the details of it's "offs" now but do remember the shell pretty much needed seams rewelded on every event. The 90 sheet metal alloy made welding difficult and less able to cope with the stresses of forest stages

All were non-turbo, naturally aspirated engines and were as follows.

90-44-MN which was a 5 cylinder 10 Valve.

MN-90-44 which started life as a 10 valve but was later converted to 20 valve, but proved problematic and was subsequently shipped off to America.

MN-44-90 which was a 10 valve but was written off early on in an accident in the UK.

Looking at the spec of the car the power would be around the 200-220 bhp mark, running a sixth injector to enrichen the mixture after 5k rpm. Wet sumped with all chassis and suspension mountings needing to be as per the factory cars due to Grp A regs. The car will be restored in time and will probably be used for demonstration purposes.
Booty, any update on your friend's car?
