ABS System will disable when power supply falls below a certain threshold. So I'd suspect that as a symptom, rather than a fault, at this point.

Battery light on- loss of charge. Alternator belt?

You guys really need to start being a bit more open with model/engine specs. Different engines, different layouts, and all that.

However, assuming it's the 5 cylinder.
Likely, to my knowledge. Front right. Bottom of the engine bay. Just behind the front bumper assembly.

You might even see it through a grille, or feel it without getting too grubby

It's the old 'confirmation bias' and (excuse any misquote) assumption being the mother of all screw ups.

I made the assumption based on having read a few threads, recently. But having 5 cars myself, each with their own idiosyncrasies even with 3 being the same 'model', it's easy to go off on a tangent.

hah!

I can't remember if the alternator belt is behind or in front of the hydraulic pump belt.
I've seen the alternator adjuster mechanism rot and fail. It's more complex on the big chassis cars. It may be that the alternator is simply out of tension.
