ISTR Tom Hammond's high mileage sport that was restored by Dialynx a couple of years back was sold to someone that way... It's a pretty unique colour for a sport.

I was gobsmacked the first time I saw it many years ago at Loton with a trailor, then I saw the Pikes Peak car and almost fell over!! We asked Tom if he used the electric clutch only to be told that he had enough of a job to keep it on the track without using that as well !!
It was always a pleasure to see that combo arrive in the paddock at a hill climb, and the colour looked fantastic when you saw it for real.

As far as I remember it was, as Richard says, Malachite Green, and the factory offered it as a substitute to British Racing Green. Tom's old Sport as a tow car was/is a quattro legend as Gordon says.... Amazing cars belonging to an amazing man... god bless....
