Brake fluid
Hi All
Could anybody recommend a good brake fluid for an RR ur quattro please? I seem to of had a tiny drop in fluid, I hope it's not the master cylinder, the clutch pedal is still returning to its starting position with no issues. Does the fluid evaporate over time etc?? Many thanks Regards |

A small drop in brake fluid level over time is normal as the pistons will move out further as the pads wear, meaning the calipers hold more of the fluid.
The difference between max & min on the reservoir roughly equates to the difference between new and worn out pads / discs. Is it noticeably dropping still, or have you just noticed a small drop over a longer period of time / miles? If it's just dropping due to pad wear and you top it up, and whoever changes the pads / discs does not think to empty the reservoir before they push the caliper pistons back, it'll spill over. |
