There’s always one thing leading to another!
I think from what has been said so far that the most likely thing is the clutch slave has jammed with the piston out. Can you hear the clutch release bearing with the engine running? I’d explore other options before removing the box, that sounds extreme. Good luck! |

since we have time off just now with the cora,tred taking this out tonite slave its the wire type,,,,how the hell do u get it too move any tips guys cause ave tried most things.tried twisting it no movement please any 1 had same hassle

Maybe some heat around the area on bell housing where the slave goes into might help, then try twisting.
...or remove all crud and soak some release oil into it? ….some copper mallet action maybe? I've never had one of these out, was it like Colin said?(wire clip and roll-pin) |

Just a wire clip can't see a roll pin is there a pin there do u think Al have too look again

Hi guys, hope you are all safe and well. Back to the clutch slave cylinder, the hole the roll pin is located in is larger than 6mm, if you can't push an m6 bolt through the hole and out the other side the roll pin is still in there, if the roll pin is removed and you can't turn the slave cylinder you may need to use John's suggestions of heat and copper hammer.
