How to repair Audi spec cable tie
A few of my old style cable ties have broken. These are the ones with the hole in the bottom that engages with a small tab on the body work. I couldn't find new replacements so invented a fix.
Find a normal cable tie the same width. Cut a length to match the broken end. Place the new section over the old and use a small amount of plastic superglue to bond. Place a short length of heat shrink over the join and heat to seal. If you want to keep it looking OE, you could buy brown cable ties and heat shrink insulation.
