Fuse 19 goes to pin B1 of V94 which is the central locking module.
Have you replaced the central locking module already ?

Right I'll need to get it lifted out and checked. When i got the car it had this fault, then it disappeared for months now it's come back again. With any luck it might be an easy wiring fix! Cheers Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Pulled the pump out this afternoon, a few soldered connections have gained crusty rust on them and there is a damp film over the circuit board.
I cleaned it as best I could without contact cleaner but so far no improvement, the central locking works fine and the red light on the dash flashes but the car will still not start with the system "live". Worth trying another pump? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Have you had the key apart? the transponder chip is a very tiny coil of wire wrapped around a core. Is it still in there?

Hi Ben yes I have and there didn't appear to be anything in there.... Will check again, some say the 1994 cars don't actually have a chip? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Yes, it's not a "chip", it looks like a very small fuse, ~10mm long. If you split the key, you can see the rectangle where it should be.

You would see it, as it will fall out from it's hole. It looks like it's missing.
