If you look past the obvious, it looks like a possible ex VAG UK car, being a BD plate.

All there if a bit crusty. Would take some work to revive but sensible asking price by current standards

Or maybe a blocked fuel tank, or a blocked filter, or rust in the fuel pipes etc etc

Am I getting pessimistic or what ?

you forgot a clogged metering unit - needing to be exchanged.
Lets face it, basically it's a rusting non runner...........
also looks like it needs new main beams so I bet the others are not far behind.

Indeed Chris, a rusting non runner and after the 80 Sport saga, I'll never buy another non runner/barn find...it's got to have a valid MOT and been used in the past month or else I'm not interested.

Wish I'd made that rule a year ago though!
