Brilliant! Thanks.
I've now used that link to find details of my petrol tank, but am not having much luck finding if the 1986 Coupe quattro tank would fit. If it does another guy on here might have one I can use, which would save me the bother of de-rusting mine!
Would you happen to know if the non-turbo tank would fit? I can't see why it wouldn't at the moment.

Coupe quattro tank is smaller at 70 litres

Pretty sure the fittings are similar so it will likely fit.

I'd be more inclined to try and recover the original. I used to see well over 500 miles from a full tank in mine
