Arrow OUCH!!!

The 'young' owner (a neighbour) of this 2002 Subaru Impreza 2.0i sport did a nice job of writing it off this week :

Owner/driver suffered some minor injuries but is otherwise okay, no one else in the vehicle at the time.

Real shame as it was in the process of being restored, now being sold as spares/repairs complete or otherwise - anyone interested?
(Please contact the owner, [EDIT: DETAILS REMOVED/CAR NOW GONE!])

As John Brignal said to me as I carried way too much speed with the rally quattro into Creg Ny Baa on the Isle of Man...
said in a broad scouse accent
"Keep ya'boot in son, it'll only be a glancing blow"....

shame, looked like a car with potential, but at least the lad is okay.

Very true that! ...
Car certainly had/has* some potential Isimmo; the owner reckons the sports models are getting rare too!

*has because the engine does still fires up, and in the right hands, well it could possibly be a runner again, who knows.

Wet behind the ears and also seemingly very hot under the collar vorsprung durch technik. As I said though, fortunately he's okay and no one else was in the car; hopefully he's learnt his lesson though!

If that's what happened with a 2.0 sport, I'd hate to see what would happen with a wrx/sti.....

Well, judging from the latest rumours going about town...
the car was dumped less than a mile away a few days after I'd put this on here!

Last time I tried to speak with the owner to find out if anyone had phoned him about the car, he basically told me he wasn't in a good mood and to go away! - like so much for trying to help someone, and to save a car in the process! It's probably in a Police compound or scrapyard/crusher now.
