Brake bomb
Can we say brake bomb without a visit from MI5 or risking an invasion from the cuzzuns?
Anyway. V8 brake b-b-b-bomb, Partnumber 441612061B I suspect lives on several models of type44. Must be serviceable.

The pump is different, but the b-b-b-bomb is the same. Is it/was it usable?
However, I found my spare a short while ago, after posting the request, so after I run a few other checks, I shall fit that if necessary, and check it.

Yes, for some reason, I got trapped into thinking micky's car was the later one.
I still haven't swapped out the spare that I dug up here, so it's wait and see. I've got the red brake system symbol on the Black V8, when idling. It's got acceptable brake effort, although rather asymmetric due some sticky calipers. So that's the job for now. Bomb swap, caliper swap for a good couple of calipers, and test.
