Defo a WR, quite a few are on an 'E' plate.

Nope, quite a few WR's are on 'E's too. Most probably registered late. I've been to see a couple of them for sale in the past.
This one's registered Jan '88 iirc.

Yep, but as we all know JJ, there are quattros and there are JJ (and Pearlmars) quattros. It would have to be very special (think of Peter B's Panther RR or that E Plate restored Alpine White WR Kelvin with the gorgeous Black RS2000 had) to even come close....

This one's registered Jan '88 iirc.
There were (I think) 2 MBs registered in late 87 (E Plate) but a fair few WRs registered in early 88 (E Plate). MikeS2 on here owns the Motor Roadtest Tornado Red MB which is one of the two 87 cars. There is a 90 H Plate Tornado Red MB knocking about (complete with those fabulously expensive optional electric Recaros) which was at AM Cars a few years back.
