Default Is this a really bad idea?!

I've found what I thought was a very rare and desirable set of 18" 4x108 alloys for my 93 16v Coupe. However, after receiving a photo of the mounting face from the owner it appears they have been redrilled from 5 lug to 4x108, and it doesn't look a great job.

Shall I leave these well alone, or do you think they can be 'made good'? I know a very good wheel repairer/specialist.

hmmm...think about the stress that those will wheels go through when you're thrashing it in and out of corners and up hill and down dale....and with those bodged holes in them too . .

Wheels can be plugged and re-drilled however the person who did this gave no thought as to where the stresses would generate from.

Unfortunately those wheels are only fit for scrap now.

I saw this kind of crap all the time in India/Bangladesh. Lots of scrap alloys running eccentrically! must make for a great ride

I have a similar dilemma on these 17" azev a's
There where originally 4x98 but slotted to make 4x108
Centre bore is the correct 57.1

Thoughts ?

Throw em away like the other one's
Can't you see the meat is all gone from the stress points, they will crack then break just when you thought they were ok
