It'll handle much better on the roadriders though. Beautiful bike and superb restoration, liking the halogen headlamp bulb, looks like its going to be used day and night. Last edited by quattrodave; 10-06-18 at 09:46 PM. |

Not sure what the tyres are but it will get used, like all his other bikes.
Rick was a police motorcycle rider, Royal duty and all sorts of things, this bike gets ridden to Yorkshire or somewhere oop Norf, where the annual Norton show is. Ricks hols are him and the wife on the bikes to Spain, France etc, he is also a part time bike mot tester. It's going to get ridden We are discussing his next resto, a very early Goldwing, trouble is the early Goldwings were real candy, silver base and red candy. This worries him a bit as you cant touch it up, paint bits etc. We may look at a modern pearl red as an alternative or straight black, which they came in that year |

Early Jap bikes had tyres like that, sliding out from under the rider was common. Before you say it, that was before my time although they still had crap compound tyres when i was buying bikes, first request was to swap them. |
