Still have a good couple of inches of wet snow, could get interesting when it freezes

It started snowing here about 1am and didn't stop, we got at least 6 inches but buy late afternoon it turned to rain.
The roads are 2 - 3 inch thick surface coverings of ice in many places. School has been cancelled for Oliver tomorrow

Your that bit further east is probably the reason.

Happy days all round tomorrow then Mark. Make the most of it

I haven't ventured further than the garage today, not that the snow bothers me, I grew up 1000ft up, in the North Pennines, just didn't need to go anywhere, so didn't.

No idea what the drive to work will be like, but it's less then 3 miles, how bad can it be???

We so rarely see snow down here that it's great when it does arrive sadly the Mrs hates it.Living up the Pennines must have given you some good memories. What you driving into work with?

About enjoying tomorrow, might even take Oliver out on a bike ride tomorrow down the union Canal. Perhaps not ,
the snow will be covering all sorts of potholes and hidden dangers. This is more like it on a freezing cold day to be warm and cosy.

It's the Mrs Birthday today so as the snows pissed her off i put this on to cheer here up. Time for a hot chocolate soon.
