Brake Dust Repellent
Folks,
The sprays you apply to alloys to help protect them from brake dust, do they work? Any recommendations? |

I've not used a spray other than Bilt Hamber wheel cleaner - that just removes the brake dust.
I usually apply a sealant after getting alloys refurbished. I used Poorboys Wheel sealant. It's like a paste that you just wipe off after application. it makes it easier to remove brake dust. Wash them often is the key to keeping them clear

I've used the Autoglym alloy Wheel Seal Protector Dust Repellent but it's a faf to apply being a spray and it doesn't do a particularly good job either.
I use Finish Kare 1000p high temp past wax now and it really works. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Finish-Ka...YAAOSwRLZT3L6J |
