Sorry Gmac, I'm not one for keeping phone on me so was left in car.
I did check my phone when we met at Braemar but just assumed you were missing this one.
Next time

Had a passenger today, my friend Mark who's just bought a coupe(think yours was a bargain Graeme?!) and Bess in the back seat.
We met with Colin and Sion(and Jen) at Guildtown just outside Perth and took to the A93 up to Blairgowrie and then up to Glenshee where we were in the clouds a bit?
(apologies about the pic quality....not sure what setting camera was on but hey ho?)

This guy pulled in to see if Sean's coupe was an S2.....he used to have one..."best car I've ever had he said.
"Is that the best you could replace it with?" I said......He just laughed and gave it a big bit of right foot!......and off he roared.

So arrived in Braemar at 9:00 and met Colin in his S2 with Lauren and wee Paul(I think?)

Jen's chauffeur driven 2.0 Coupe.

My 90 Sport.

Colin Aitch's 7A GT

Colin Mack's S2

From Braemar we headed to Ballater for a fuel stop for Colin S2, and Bess took a piss.
Then up the A939 and over the wackiest hump-back-bridge since they stopped showing "Wacky Races"......over the River Gairn.
This is where the road starts to get legendary!
Onwards north towards Cockbridge and then up to The Lecht Ski Centre, although wet visibility was good so "making progress" was happening!

Sounds like a good run. Pity the weather was so pish, especially after the great sun we had yesterday. I'd liked to have been able to make it.

Pity there wasn't a better turn out

What coupe has your mate bought?

Up to Tomintoul and through to Grantown-on-Spey.
Where we all parked up and piled into MacLean's Bakery and Coffee Shop.......and it has to be said that the all-day-breakfast is alive and well in these parts!

And check this wee fella, standing by Dad's S2........"who was driving a bit fast?!" said Mum.

It was here that Colin, Lauren and Paul headed for home.

So we headed into Whiskey Country along the A95 to Aberlour and then down to Dufftown and up the Cabrach road and onto the A97 and past Kildrummy Castle where somehow we managed to rejoin the A93 near Cambus o'May.
....and this happened!!! Muppets!

That's about it.
Sorry Gmac that we missed you today and you too Graeme, I'm sure your coop will be raring to go for the next outing!
What we lost in numbers we certainly made up for with some great driving roads. 340 (for me)miles of smiles, except for the death-wish sheep!
........less said about that ewe the batter! Baaaa

Graeme, to be honest it was a bit grey and yes we had a bit of rain but we had a blast!

Mark's bought a 2.6 manual in black......hopefully he'll tell us all about it?!
