With the Meguiars it tells you to remove any excess with a microfiber cloth that will avoid those horrible splatter marks once driven but still keeps it nice shine for weeks, always read the label

I do concours fella and do read the labels , I just spray the one I use on a cloth and wipe it on , the gels and thick creams go in the tread and attract dust etc which looks a bit grim to the untrained eye , this is three week old treated tyres sat outside now in the rain ( no brake dust for obvious reasons ) ... the devils in the detailling
Megs is a bit like auto grim , the odd decent product but most are average

As far as Auto Glym is concerned, I find Bumper Care better than Vinyl & Rubber care for external use but I know what you mean about getting in the tread. I'm +1 for the Meguiars though at the moment. Find it lasts longer than any of the AG products - just use sparingly.

Gravel rash and mud... Cut the crap with scrubbidaby scrub, polishy polish... Just get out there and use the soddin' things before either a) ya can't, because of enviro/insurance/parts/toss pots etc, or, b) you're too old and knackered...

Wonder wheels wet look tyres, spray on. Cheap, cheerful, lasts well, looks good and best of all the Mrs. can buy it for you when she does the weekly shop at ASDA

Works for me
