If its anything like my 2.6 Coupe you will find it very hard to sell, unless its very cheap. if it was a 2.0E 8 or 16v you could sell it easier. As soon as you say 2.6/2.8 it puts people off. |

The v6 isn't crap !
2.6 felt good even with it's 150bhp in our old 80 q avant, smooth but pulled good when prompted. The 2.8 30v in the wifes a4 q avant is silky compared to the 2.6 and very deceptive ! 192bhp not to be sniffed at, hustles you up to speed before you even know it's happened. Not for everyone this spendy boost power. |

the v6 is crap if you want an engine to tune unless its got a couple of turbo's strapped to it and even then I would opt for 20vt any day

The v6 does not pull like a 20v 5 pot have driven both and the 20v is just far more of a drivers car ,don't get me wrong when on the motorway the v6 is a good cruising car ,but the 20v just has it .If it was my money and there was a choice 20v or 20vt always .

There is no denying that the 20vT is a wonderful engine that's why one is going in my cabby Quattro but that doesn't automatically mean the V6 is a dog. I have both 2.6 and a 2.8 cabby an I think the V6 suits a cabby very well.
