I see it a lot David, i know it already has a patch on the floor pan and one on the offside sill too, that alone isn't enough to put me off as i can sort those, but behind the wheel arch trims on those golf's most of it has bad rot

Good man, i would say though check the interior, trim is rarer than rocking horse sh it, metalwork shouldnt be an issue

The interior is not the greatest but not as bad as some, stinks a bit from being stood with the lid up for 10 years too, the lid is in great condition funnily enough, both inside and out.

Metalwork, welding etc is no problem to me at all, i will send it down to you to paint

Not allowed any more, just got an MGB GT V8 to do, and paint the voice once the GT6 is on the road, and the bike to be transformed into a street tracker.

Bit busy at the mo, now if I get made redundant I might have a bit of time spare.

Would do tomorrow, lack of affordable workshop space okd mate, it is just horrendous here, even farm workshops are expensive
