This car was for sale ages ago, I think the photos are even the same.
£2.5k is a lot for a car that needs "paintwork restoration" (respray) and considering it's Pearl white, could be expensive to do. |

There seems to be quite a few CQs coming out the woodwork at the moment.

People seem to be wanting crazy money for Coupe Quattro' at the moment, several on eBay getting no bids at all because they are setting the start price way too high

With the price of UR's on the up, coupe quattro prices are bound to show an increase. For a lot of people they are the next best thing and if anything, are undervalued at the moment.

People are becoming greedy, therefore unrealistic about value. These cars are going up in value but I agree - people want silly money for cars that are big projects!

Pear White is a stunning colour when in a Factory hue. However, the problem with Pearl White is that once you start repainting the car, even with a total respray, never mind a bit of 'localised paintwork', it is very, very difficult to get it right. I am yet to see a car that has had a repaint in Pearl that looks anything close to 'right'. They are either too white, as in an almost metallic Alpine white, or too cream, as in they have Jaundice. I remember going to buy a Pearl white Audi V8 way, way back (the one that was adverised in Audi driver, month after month about twelve years ago. The seller had forgotten to mention the fact that the drivers side had been 'keyed'. It didn't take me long to think pearl White=paintwork=walk away very, very quickly. It was a shame as otherwise it was a very nice car at the time.
