Here's one for ye! Installing A8 (D2) nav plus double din to C3 100?!!!
Yes, you read that right! I've had an idea, I'm full of those, some mad, so not so much. I haven't quite figured out which category this falls into! Anyway, here's what I'm on about. I recently got my hands on a Nav+ double din stereo from a D2 A8 (facelift version). I was going to sell it on ebay and then I had my idea. Would it be possible to fit this into my type 44 center console? I realise it's a bit of a job, and there's the whole electrical side of things which I'm sure would be a bit of a nightmare, but what do you all think? I remember coming across a very detailed installation of a double din stereo in a C4 100 about a year ago but for the life of me I can't find it now. So, thoughts everyone, am I barking or could this be done?

Thanks Palucha, I'll have a look at that and see what's involved. I have a spare center console so I'll do a dummy run on the fitting side of it, could be a tight one with the switch bank on top and the heater controls underneath.
