Default VW Mk4 Golf TDI (non-PD) 90 or 110BHP

As title, on the hunt for a Mk4 Golf TDI (non-PD), either with 90 or 110hp. Don't mind high mileage as long as it has good service history (including cambelt). Would prefer the SE spec but will consider anything. Budget up to about £1,200 - needed as a cheap daily commute.

Anyone know of one out there for sale?!

'Cars Wanted'

Subtitle: 'After a car? Audi or non Audi, post in here!'

I rest my case.

i would have thought the best place to look for a VW would be a VW forum, hence the question, don't get me wrong my daily drive is a VW

Many of us know that members on this forum own cars from the VAG grp. So asking here is increasing the chance of someone knowing where there maybe one for sale. So no need to jump down his throat moonwatcher, its just a question on a forum.

I drive a Rover badged up as an MG - It has cost less in running costs and repair bills then any Audi

My work colleague also drives an MG ZR diesel - fantastic on fuel and cheap to maintain, he loves it. Although his car didn't like going through a massive flood, ended up buying a second hand engine to fit!
