Woh re-owning the exact same UrS4 3 times over ???
I cant comprehend that just right now !!!

I've put it up for sale after weeks of building up the courage to even part with this one.
From all the quattro specialists you know out there, can you recommend anyone to carry out work on this particular UrS4 model, on my behalf while im busy with the house etc ??? Could be an option for me

Well it seams your open to the possibility of keeping it so why not just keep it and maintain it with the help of someone on here or you could go to a well known specialist White cottage but that will be uber expensive.Basically these are very good cars but are getting on in years and will need maintenance over and above just ordinary servicing for example suspension rebuilds. If your up for that keep it and find someone wiling to help you maintain it.

Wish you all the best with it.

I seem to recall that quattrokids S4 had a coil pack related failure. It ran, but not as well as it could until it was resolved.
I'm with VDT; get it sorted, and enjoy.

Thanks, will catch up with Quattrokid when convenient. You & VDT are right on it. All that old suspension rebuilds etc aint a problem for me if really need to in the future. Been there and done it many years ago on the old Typ85 80 SPORT I had. Even dropped a 5 cyl 10v engine conversion into it with the power steering etc. I've had dozens of type 81/85 80/90/coupes to strip down for my own collection of spares in order to maintain and run my personal projects back in the 90's onwards. Everything had to stop around 12 years ago due to moving house, which meant I lost my work & storage space....will drop some photos on here 1 day of my old BEAST. Just never got involved with the 20v editions until I picked this S4 back in 2007, but since then ive never had much of a technical issue really. Everything was already fully prepared by the previous owner of this S4, just before he sold it to me with 69k on it, new timing belt & new discs and calipers etc etc. Lets see what happens next, maybe someone will help me rescue this car from a reluctant sale/part exchanged against a modern car without the same old skool charms as this S4/broken up for spares.

If anyone knows of any Mechanical garage specalists with UrS4/UrS6/S2/RS2/Quattro experience & knowledge in the west midlands area to recommend please let me know. Thanks to all and in advance.

Contact "Spink" on here 👍 He swapped my gearbox for me for one with 🤔 125k miles less than mine 😂 He's in Scarborough so maybe a bit of a trek for you ( it was for me from Ayrshire) Hames knows every nut, bolt & rivet on these cars and runs a few himself 👍 He could perhaps even store it for you if you just need the space for now 🤔

Yea owned the same car 3 times 😝💪🤗
