Default 1997 A6 suspension

Hi all I have a 1997 A6 Tdi Estate Quattro and looking to replace front suspension top mounts, bearings, springs and shocks plus doing the rear shocks and springs.
Where is the best place to get all these bits and bobs from?

Cheers in advance😎

Your car wouldn't happen to be Green would it? and parks in Parkfield area when you pick the kids up? if it is then i see it quite often on my way home from work.
There are various places to get parts from, GSF, Euro car parts, Audi. Your best bet tho is eBay.
Ive got good suspension parts from a 97 2.8 quattro A6

I believe the AEL engine A6 quattto has a slightly lower 'sport' suspension ?

would that be the same as fitted to the 2.8 v6 quattto ?

Yes the A6 i broke had the same springs as my S6 (Sports springs) they would fit any car (100/A6 quattro) obviously the ride height would be different.

I'm assuming your AEL A6 quattro has the 1BE code,(lower) on the build sticker which denotes sports suspension as apposed to the standard 1BA code? If that is the case then the spring would be identicle to the springs i have here from my Sports suspension 2.8 ACK 30v manual box Quattro. Spring colour code will be a combination of yellow and orange 1 x yellow and 2 x orange. There is also a 1 x yellow and 3 x orange spring, both are sports springs and from my personal experience they will be the same ride height but one will offer an even more sporty/harsh ride as some put it. As an aside the S6 sports springs have spring colour dots of silver and violet as i have also on my S6.

Gonna check my code and the color codes on the springs.
Anyone ever fitted coilover kits?
