No worries, it looks pretty basic, even by 80's standards so I can understand!

That head is on the way, by the way.. You'll have fun getting into it, past the armour.

Things don't quite work in the stix like they work in civilisation though. A subby/local delivery guy turns up yesterday to deliver timing belt/tensioner/water pump for my 80, (I know him, I see him every day somewhere or other) The other half asked if he's the one picking the head up, he says 'no, but he knows the guy who is, and he'll hand the parcel over to him in the depot' (this morning.)(in Carlisle)

I see him today while out on a site, he's delivering to the house there and I asked him if he passed the head on. He said no, he missed the guy this morning but half an hour ago he got an instruction through to his computer thing telling him to go to my house and pick it up.. It was already in his van.. And he doesn't even work for Citylink. God knows how many subbies that's going through before it gets to a motorway. Lucky it's in a wooden coffin after all. I told you they didn't like picking up from my neck of the woods, Maybe they think they'll be eaten by the locals or something.

Thanks for that, the valves and other bits arrived from Germany today so hoping I've got most bits through now to get the car sorted

Gonna have to head up that way one day just to see exactly how far in the sticks you really are!!

Lol, not really in the stix at all, it's quite a populated area in the grand scheme of things, just right really, it just seems to be a mental block of some kind that folk get once they're 100 miles from the nearest motorway, specifically delivery drivers!
