Ur warm up regulator fuel pipes

Mine are both a bit rusty at the fuel distributor end.
Probably fine for another few years but I would not like them to split while driving!
Anybody got two spare and would like to sell both please? Or can they be re-crimped?

I also wonder if the warm up regulator is the reason my car starts like an absolute pig, but settles down to an excellent idle and runs fine after 10-15 seconds or so (I’ll time it properly today).

I’ve disconnected the cold start valve but the smell on start up is very rich.
On a long run I’m getting 33mpg, and the plugs do look lean.

I don’t have a pressure tester to check WUR operation-would you say that’s next step?
I have to be careful removing the fuel pipes as they are not brilliant.

Found them - feed and return. PM me

For fuel pressure, it should start low around 1.2-1.5 bar and increase when warm to 3.3-3.8 bar. I'm not 100% sure on the numbers for your engine.

Make sure everything else is in good order. Fuel delivery, injectors not leaking, check valve working correctly, accumulator diaphragm good.

I got my tester from a German seller and it was easy to setup and confirmed a warm up regulator fault straight away.

I have 5 glass pots for the ends to sit in for 24 hours!

I will look for fuel gauge later too.

Sorry to have to tell you, Mike sadly passed away earlier this year.

If you're having fuel system issues, I'm happy to try and help, I've been through it with my Coupe GT including rebuilding the fuel distributor and warm up regulator.

My problem was leaking fuel injectors. Fixed by replacing them!

I didn't know him personally but some others on the forum did. I know he'd be disappointed if we stopped talking about old Audi's though, so do post up what the issues are and I'm sure someone will be able to help.
