You not wrong in suggesting the C4 sports seats are Recaro's. The journalists back in the day when writing the reviews/road tests said they thought they were but couldn't get an answer out of Audi. Audi probably sworn to secrecy from the deal they did with Recaro? Reacaro sold loads more seats and Audi mysteriously all of a sudden had a good seat. Win win.

Sorry i don't have them in velour, mine are black Jaquard same as yours the ones i travelled up to near Lecestershire,you'll remember. Cost loads in petrol, but the things we do for our Audi. All worth it in the end.

You'll want to try searching for Audi 100 seats 91-94 some of the 2.6 cars had the sports seats and in velour.I've got photos on an old hard drive, trust me they looked very nice! To be honest any of the C4 sports seats, be it Jaquard, Velour or Leather look superb as long as they're in top condition.

Yep that's them.Such a shame they were only fitted on the 100 making them extremely rare.I doubt any will become available, having said that now i've said it some one will offer up some.

Quattro dave has a set of seats available from an S2 coupe;
Has anyone successfully managed to fit b4 coupe rear upright into a b3 saloon?
Bearing in mind the fuel tank sits behind the rear of a b3 quattro saloon & the b4 coupe has a drop down facility including ski hatch , I'm also aware that the b4 coupe rear upright comes in 4 pieces.
All of the above imho points to it being a bit of a ballache??

Thoughts & opinions much appreciated kind audi folk

ive been doing some digging & I believe its easier to fit a b3 rear to a b4 (no use to me ),
& apparently A4 -b5 rear fits in a b3 too; I'm aware that b5's had sports rear seats available but not in charcoal jacquard as far as I'm aware?

Just thought B2 coupe seats could possibly fit , but again obviously didn't have the "charcoal" jacquard material ,apart from the UR 20v RR , which had the light grey (lovely) jacquard centre trimmed & leather outer trim seats.

failing any of the above, I'm maybe best holding out for an actual set of b3 rears to turn up, in ten years

This upgrading lark Chris isn't all it's cracked up to be is it? Personally i think it's great if done properly but it comes at a cost and major hassle. I know Tradition have the Jaquard cloth which is cheap enough last time i looked at £40 a roll, so cheap as chips really when you can't find the correct trim anywhere. There's obviously the cost of getting the rear seats retrimmed but at least an option. Just wondering if they have the velour in rolls? You could get your C4 "Recaro's" retrimed in velour.Just a thought.

I want to do the same for the 2.6 avant i.e. fit the C4 "Recaros" but getting those done to match the grey leather would be dear possibly £1,500? and just can't afford it for the foreseeable. If values keep creeping up i'm not sure i'll bother??
