I paid about £35 to increase my storage level as I was almost max'd out.....that was in March I think, storage is now at 40%.
I like taking pictures and putting them on CA but it is a shame there are less pictures overall now. |

Ben sussed this one out and I am gradually getting all my photos back. All you need to to do is add "~original" to the end of the URL of each photo. The photos from the 10th anniversary and Audi's in the Park were all successfully uploaded using this method

Thats a decent tip.. for now! Until they suss the loophole.
But it's usually threads from a few years ago, and most people are unlikely to update the pics so you can guarantee the threads with info you might want just have that stupid picture. So much valuable info lost. Photobucket just basically hijacked thousands of valuable forum threads and information. They could have at least changed their policy (effective from 01.01.2017 onwards for example) so that all new photos would be under this new policy and therefore you'd need to pay. They should have honoured the original agreement and supported legacy files that were already used. Very bad move and extremely bad PR in my opinion. Last edited by audi80fan; 10-09-17 at 08:49 AM. |
