Meet up and catch up at Dun 8th of April
The start to this years meeting has not been the best, due to different reason the meeting just haven't happened, Last Sunday at Knock Hill we were talking about what to do this year and the question was asked could we do a visit to Duns to the Jim Clark museum as there is an event on the weekend of 7th and 8th of April, Saturday the 7th of April is the big day as it is 50th year anniversary of his fatal accident in 1968, we are looking to pay a visit on Sunday the 8th of April for a walk through the museum and a coffee, our thoughts are to meet up in Duns at say 11am on Sunday morning and spend a few hours in the town for a look around, I will be taking an Audi just the color to decide, any thoughts or questions please post them, sorry about the short notice but this is how it go's sometimes.

Love that racing machine, i was given a large model of that when i was 3 years old just days before the momentous moment
when Dad got me up to watch man walk on the moon in July 1969. Remember it ike it were yesterday. Reckon you lot will enjoy the museum it must be worth seeing. |

I will be ok for this Colin 👍🏻. I was originally thinking of going down on the Saturday, but this will be good for a catch up.

Cool. Google recons 2 hours via the M8 or 2h 45m cutting across country via Biggar. Going the M8 picking up stragglers along the way is probably easier.
Could meet you at 8:30 or earlier, to allow for meeting up others possibly once moving? Any other thoughts, meeting points? |
