Default Back in Glen Etive again

Mother wanted to go and feed the wild deer in Glen Etvie yesterday, what a thrill, they are so tame, in the past, 30-40 years ago I went game shooting most Sunday's October to February, but now just couldn't do it, feeding the deer is not really for children but if you take your time they will come to you, the jaffa cake in this photo was no full moon - half moon, just total eclipse, they tend to eat anything, apples cut up or carrots but the best thing is barbecue Pringles, be prepared to be pushed, jostled and poked with antlers.

This wee dude I could have put in the car and taken him home, just so cute.

Then you get the cheeky one.

This stag in the photo below I have named Tam, as in Tam Mullen the character from Still Game, he is a right greedy bastard, he like to give you a poke with his antlers.

When I was over West very recently to work near Oban I couldn't believe the potholes in the raods- bomb craters!
Good pics Colin- I used to like deer til they insisted in 'making friends' with the front of my CQ...think it was noise of the Scorpion backbox that attracted them!

Morning Colin, they have max 30mph on one bit of the road due to the potholes, cars and deer don't mix, I had a wee bump in the past with a deer but lucky me I was in the mothers car.
