What are the injectors like ? they can leak into the cylinder. Injection is to all cylinders all the time (no firing order)

Injectors are coming out later this week hopefully, when new seals arrive. Will be checking spray patterns, quantity variances and leakage.

Will know more then
Cheers

I dont have the kit to check unfortunately
My guess is that it wouldn't be what it should be given the mileage.

It's kind of one of those "do I want to know?" areas .......

To clarify, I can go about 1/2 a turn either way without too much negative effect, more than that & it really starts to object

I have a compression tester and a Gunson gas tester you can borrow for a few days if you like.

Thanks Dave, kind offer

I think I'm going to go through the outstanding bits outlined earlier, injectors, turbo (rebuild if necessary) then reset the fuel pressures, see where that all ends up - probably be a week or three as I seem to be quite busy with other things and other cars at the moment.

If no improvement, I may well take you up on that, cheers.
I'm seriously hoping there aren't cylinder bore issues here, that's a whole other ball game.
