Headlamps not bright enough -upgrade options
Anyone know of any good options to get more light output from the existing headlamps? It's on an Audi 200. I don't want to put driving lamps on if I can avoid it. Maybe an uprated bulb e.g. the following?

They do require extra space behind the mounting (IIRC 70 mm) so measure once and cut twice... er... or something. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GM7Lk4YMeKo Russian (sorry) but his test show Osram standard H4 29,2 KLux @ 13,5V and Philips LED H4 75,8 KLux ... Checking for voltage drop between battery and bulb connections on both feed and earth circuits would give you a total voltage drop.......you're looking for as little as possible. I'm not sure if the 200 has lighting relays, maybe it does? |
