Arrow show preparation

Hey guys

For one reason or another, it's been quite some time since I went to a car show of any kind, and back then it was quite common to see a brief script or folder placed alongside the vehicle/s which spectators were able to read/browse if they so wished.

With AITP not too far away, and hopes that my boy will be ready in time, I've been contemplating on whether or not to put together a folder of some kind myself; I have everything from the initial 'for sale' advertisement, work receipts/invoices/mot certs/tax discs spanning 17 years, and before & after photos of parts replaced in recent months, so quite a lot of stuff to consider if I were to put something together.

My question however is, do owners still do this kind of thing?, and what if anything would make for an interesting (without overdoing it!) script/folder please?

TIA
leggy

Older Audi VW's nowadays seam to attract the younger partying weed brigade hence would be uncool to do what the Triumph boys do. They are more generally interested in the speed and the cache the Audi VW badges cult status bring. There are of course mature Audi owners too. The triumph boys seam to be mostly, but not all, more straight laced more traditional and in love with the history more reverent hence why they like the history/spec file.

Personally, I like reading and looking at pictures of what people have done and the hard work put in, agreed the car is the attraction and "printed off tinterweb" is shite, but every classic has a story.

It's normally nailed in front of a maestro 1.6l or a Nissan bluebird unfortunately
There's an escort cabriolet round here with one and it looks a bit sad really
