I have no idea how it's done but if you can do it then do it. I run a Skoda Yeti 4x4 with a CR140 engine and that does about 48mpg. Easilt chipped to 170bhp. I also drive a Skoda Superb 2.0tdi that is 170bhp, that does on average 55/58 mpg. I do a real variety of roads and about 25000 miles a year... and 'use' the power when possible. The Yeti has done several track days.

Its certainly making me think, is the CR engine easy enough to fit? If there was a guide with all the wiring requirements somewhere online that would help.... I suppose the CR engines are younger and mostly lower mileage as well which is probably preferable
