Default Coupe carpet

Forgetting window mechanisms for a moment, my old Coupe has good carpets in it but original mats would have been nice, but unlikely after 40 years I have to admit.

Hunted around on eBay for something suitable and ended up buying some which are cheap and cheerful; the fit is fantastic however and the beige colour goes well with the interior and lightens up the cabin a lot. Deeper pile would be nice, but that was not an option so for £22.99 I'm certainly not grumbling....for a change!

Aye, they kind of match the seat fabric

Many thanks, but I particularly wanted something that would blend with the brown upholstery and beige as a chosen colour had two advantages . Lightened up the interior and blended fine with the Nogaro !!! upholstery. Thats what its called in my 1981 Audi brochure although two years later the name had been changed to Black in the 1983 version of it.

Now I wonder why ?

They go well in there Frank. Not sure about the practicality with grubby shoes, but it’ll keep you out of mischief cleaning them. Also, loving the stereo knobs. It’s a full on Baby Belling…
