i understand everything he says!... maybe i'm latvian...!

i think hes saying that the owner reckons that because it is an attention seeker car and has '''17's''' and tinter chavlights and windows that he reckons he can add a grand onto the price..and i think he added some latvian 'tex'mssg' lingo to suit the vocab. of the creator of the car..(?)

i think..!??!?

i like the car! don't like the wheels or stuck on black bits ...but they come off.

Yep, I reckon overall a nice car IF, you put it back to standard and took off all the added on crap. Never seen one in that colour / trim combination though?

need to know the paint code really, there was a verk dark pearl green ( often looked black in dingy lighting -- and fantastic with the sun on it ! ). The photos could almost be of a Lago colour?

Nobody has commented on whether it's a sensible price or not -- or is it totally dependent on the 'real' condition and all various records for it ?

It does look more of a lago type colour in the photo's and the upholstry looks paler than any other I've seen - I doubt its the Pearl Green colour you mention Chris - that was a nice colour, but I remember correctly the interior on that colour was black - I'm sure the test car in VW Motoring mag was that colour I'll look for it tonight a post a pic.

Price wise I'd suggest its resonable if its a good one, I paid £1900 for my non quattro 16V Sport in October 2007 and its been worth every penny.

Depending on one's point of view. I would call that price "cosmical". After all, in this nice country difference between such priced "good" car and identical 100-200 quid priced "bad" car could be only messed up wiring harness that prevents engine from running and requires some little time, some cheap parts and basic soldering skills... No wonder why I know at least a couple of latvians, who are buying and repairing at their homes cars and selling them.
