Default Sunroof seal

Hi,
I am trying to find/get a new seal for my '87 coupe steel sunroof, does anyone know if they are available?

Cheers

In short -no - they are NLA.

Well, original Audi ones are anyway, the last time I looked at Audi Tradition they were a fortune.

There was someone in the UK who was supplying a 'replacement' which was rubber rather than a flock type hard plastic.

They come up on ebay now and again- part # 855877297

I don't think the Golf sunroof seal fits, the Ur quattro seal I believe is quite unique, the photo below is of the correct seal for the Ur quattro, the 'C' shape slot fits on to the sunroof and on the left there is a space with a 3mm silicon tube in it that seals against the roof of the car, if anyone can find a supplier please post details.

Is this any good? Not exactly the same but it might do the job.

The light grey section is EPDM closed-cell foam and the black hatched U-shaped section is steel reinforced rubber. Bending it around tight corners might be a bit of an issue but I think the steel reinforcement is a mesh rather than solid section.
The manufacturer is a company called C O H Baines Ltd in Tunbridge Wells, Kent.

Web address is:

https://www.coh-baines.co.uk/product...-excluder.html

I've bought quite a bit of stuff from them over the years for the bus and the Amazon.
