"Looks" nice but performs horrible i'd reckon.
Ports venting directly into each other, reversal of flow when the wastegate opens, 90+degree bends (internal too) not to mention the large amount of thermal expansion thats bound to take place. Not been designed with flow in mind and not sold on it myself however pretty it might appear. |

on a few of my many 44s i have ground out the cracks creating a v shape and slowly built it back up , and [possibly very lucky ], done another 20 to 40 k with no probs, that said i did use new studs an fasteners, when i replaced, an then re tightened after 500 miles, the dialxnx manifolds did have a tendancy to warp if not warmed through gently after fitting, again only what i have heard and have no personal experience, but did have a new dialxnx on my ur and no probs ,,,apart from checking the bolts tension occasionally,,,
WELD IT

After fitting the one above I found that the boost tanded to come in a little earlier probably 300rpm earlier and it apeared to breath a little better top end... of cource that may well be a placibo effect!!
Definatly fit with new studs and nuts and check quite often!! It doesn look quite pretty but I may well make a tubular manifold and see how it compares..... Dave |
