on a politically correct note, I like the thread title being "short seat belt's" as opposed to "help with carrying severely obese people as passengers!"

Funny this , many years ago we got picked up by a private hire car to take us to the airport to go away ( Cuba I think ) and he was a big lad and used a piece of chain on a spring clip ( like a dog lead ) to clip onto his seatbelt to give the illusion it was on.
In your case ( you have an avant ) roll the fat fecker in the boot

the belts in my audi are a fair bit short of making installing a baby seat an easy task!

but you get there in the end!

You'll have to sling a 'Tarp' over the top and use a ratchet strap to tie the feckers down though, Plod might get a bit suspicious otherwise....

On a totally different tangent, actually going back to the original thread, we do manage and maintain a fleet of Mobility/Special Adadpted/Wheelchair Access etc etc vehicles and I could have given you a proper answer right at the beginning, but that's no fun is it!
