We had a little debate a while back if you remember, the general consensus was that early A series are welcome on here.

Shame we can't somehow change the forum name to reflect the older post 'A' series cars being accepted on the forum.

(spotted that b4 you deleted it) was even thinking of replacing the 1.9 TDI golf (130 BHP 2002 4 door model) with one for my dad he's 88 and I think the golf is a bit too powerful for him, its just that good A2's at reasonable prices are getting a bit thin on the ground.

Getting one for your dad would be perfect, i can see your reasoning if i'm right? It's a very easy car to get in and out being higher up so ideal for the elderly.
As you say good A2s are a little thin on the ground but they do turn up just keep looking. Ours has got piston slap!
