How much for a good mop and polish?
My black Volvo needs a damn good mop and polish to remove light scratches and "spiders webs" from the paintwork. Looks like over the years its been jet washed to death and being black it looks terrible! It spoils an otherwise great car for me. My white 100 avant is also suffering from paintwork thats as flat as a fart and could really do with the G10 treatment. I think with the paintwork fixed both these cars could be real head turners and that would spur me into taking proper care of them cosmetically.
I hate polishing cars as I never seem to get anywhere and dont get satifactory results, plus im lazy! How much does it cost on average for a decent cut+polish? Does anyone know of someone in the Staffordshire area that doesnt mind working on "old bangers?"

I'm not in Staff's but don't mind giving you a hand doing it!
I'm next to RAF Cosford, so not a million miles away, infact, you'd have passed my place in your Allegro the other week and not even noticed it! I'll provide the tools and the tea, and give you a hand to get it done. Won't take long for 2 people to get it done! And as pro detailers charge from £250 a car upwards, I'll make sure you save a shed load in the process! and I only work on old cars now! |

No, I'm on Long Lane (Cosford) now.
Basically, when you came to the last Breakfast Club meet, you would have taken a diversion down an arrow straight (but narrow!) road which runs parallel to the RAF base. We're down that road on the right! 1 minutes from RAF Cosford and 1 minute from J3, M54. Anytime after 12th Jan (but not 16th cos I'm at the Dentist!!) |
