Can anyone recommend an orbital polisher for around £50?
Silverline? Anything good at Halfords? |

I wouldn't waste your time with the cheap silverline orbital car polishers tbh, I've never used one but can imagine they're not up to much
That said, you can get a cheap silverline rotary and get very good results still, but rotarys require you to keep moving otherwise you will burn through the paint. Personally I only use rupes polishers though (the lhr75es and the lhr15es, the 75es is a 3" pad machine, around £260 ish, and the 15es delux kit was high £400's!), rate them very highly though You could get just as good a finish from the £50 silverline machine using the correct pads, compounds and polishes, it's all about the time and effort you put in, below is one of the most recent cars I've done Last edited by Tom C; 23-02-15 at 09:46 AM. |
